TELFOR 2016

on the 22nd and 23rd November 2016,
in the SAVA Center, Belgrade, Serbia.

TELFOR is an international regional IEEE Conference #39555 in the areas of Telecommunications and Information Technology.

TELFOR is co-supported by

"TELEKOM SRBIJA", IEEE Region 8, VLATACOM, Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of Serbia, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia, IEEE Serbia and Montenegro Section, PTT Communications “Srbija” and other supporters.

TELFOR 2016 SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE MAIN RESULTS

  • 299 registered & submitted R&D papers from 39 different countries;
  • 56% of all contact persons out of Serbia;
  • 58 papers rejected/withdrawn, 241 accepted papers (factor rejected/accepted 24%);
  • Around 729 authors/co-authors, 30 speakers and presenters, in total 1500 visitors and participants;
  • 3 invited plenary presentations during Opening Ceremony;
  • 11 scientific sections with 35 regular sessions and 2 student sessions;
  • 1 invited special session;
  • 15 special/technical/information/commercial sessions of companies/institutions;
  • PTT Serbia Museum special exhibition “Nikola Tesla and telecommunications”;
  • TELFOR exhibition;
  • Traditional IEEE Region 8 Professional Seminar for students and young engineers;
  • Tutorial in the field of Software Engineering;
  • 8-11 parallel tracks during the morning and afternoon sessions each day;
  • Around 180 members of TELFOR/TS Committees and technical support;
  • 186 active reviewers;
  • Only 3.7 % unexcused no-show authors presentations;
  • All authors/co-authors of the finally accepted papers paid minimum one registration fee per each accepted paper;
  • Free access and participation at all TEFOR activities for all visitors (non authors);
  • All registered authors/co-authors, participants and visitors got the appropriate package (printed program, CD Proceedings of accepted papers, promotional materials, souvenirs)
  • All finally accepted papers are offered to be published in IEEE XPLORE Digital Library;
  • Several best papers awards were granted at TELFOR 2016 conference;
  • Open Access scientific TELFOR Journal was for eight years publishing selected best papers from TELFOR conferences, all with extended and improved results;
  • NEUREL 2016 Symposium was held in cooperation and in parallel with TELFOR 2016;
  • II RSNOG Internet Conference was held in cooperation and in parallel with TELFOR 2016;
  • Opening Ceremony (over 1000 participantas) and the entire course of the TELFOR 2016 Conference were on-line transmitted over Internet for several hundreds of interested parties.
